Dragontongue launches!

This is a new blog dedicated to children’s writing from Wales. Our contributors are all published writers. Each week they will share thoughts and ideas about the business and craft of writing.

The writers all met online and are keen to use the internet to make connections and learn from each other. We hope you’ll join in our conversations!

  1. Long live dragons, even though there wasn’t one in my first book,….but lots in the next one

  2. Woo hoo! we’re up and running.
Had a wonderful day yesterday at Brecon Theatre. Met Alan Lambert (author of “Roberto’s War”), Cath Aran (amazing award-winning storyteller), staff from the Welsh Books Council and some lovely Y5 and Y6 from seven schools, all finalists in this years Schools Books Competition. Pupils had to read two books, discuss one with a panel, then prepare a presentation on the other. They were all brilliant. Makes you proud to be Welsh! Alan and I did two half-hour sessions each, talking about ourselves and our books – and we did good business afterwards selling and signing books
Cath had everyone rolling in the aisles with her stories.
A wonderful day – thoroughly enjoyed it
    Paul
