Happy Christmas!

The dragons are all going to be padding off through the snow to their dragon caves in the hills, with a large pile of mince pies and an even larger pile of books. We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

This particular dragon is going to be reading:

Lazybones  by Mark Billingham

Young Romantics by Daisy Hay

The War that killed Achilles    by Caroline Alexander

What will other dragons and non-dragons be reading?

  1. I’m halfway through “Rendezvous with Rama” by Arthur C Clarke and a really fascinating and useful book called “Story” by Robert McKee.
Sitting on my bedside cabinet, queuing up for me to read them next, are “Marianne Dreams” by Catherine Storr, “The Return of Sherlock Holmes” and a horror novel by Graham Masterton called “Walkers”.

  2. I have a whole pile of books waiting for me at the library – if only I can walk along glassy pavements to get there! They include:
Most Improper Magick by our own Stephanie Burgis
TV Time Travellers by Pete johnson
Cabinet of Curiosities by Paul Dowswell
Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing by M T Anderson

If I can get at them I’m in for a holiday treat!

  3. reading about five books at the same time ( if you see what i mean!) Cookery books are always very relaxing to read, and you never know what will happen it the end.
